Article „Artificial Intelligence in Government Weakens Citizens’ Affective Ties With Public Employees: Results From a Vignette Experiment“

In an article with Sveinung Arnesen, we examine how citizens‘ perceptions of public employees change when these use AI in their work. Our findings indicate that citizens rate public employees less warm and less competent if they learn about their use of AI. This effect is particularly pronounced for teachers as public employees who directly interact with other people in their work.
